Medical Silicone Molding
Silicone molding is a common molding process used to manufacture various silicone products, such as silicone seals, silicone tubes, silicone handles, etc. The silicone molding process usually includes the following steps:
Mold preparation: First, the mold required for silicone molding needs to be prepared. Molds can be designed and manufactured according to the shape and size of the product, usually using silicone molds or metal molds.
Silicone preparation: Mix and prepare the silicone material according to a certain formula and proportion. Silicone materials are usually mixed into two parts, including silicone base and cross-linking agent.
Injection molding or pouring: Inject the mixed silicone material into the mold. Injection molding can be done using an injection molding machine, while pouring involves manually pouring the silicone material into the mold.
Curing and hardening: After injection molding or pouring, the silicone material needs to be cured and hardened. This usually needs to be done under certain temperature and time conditions to make the silicone material strong and elastic.
Demolding and post-processing: After the silicone molding is completed, the finished product needs to be removed from the mold. Demolding can be done by hand or with auxiliary tools. After demoulding is completed, necessary post-processing processes can be performed, such as edge trimming, cleaning and inspection.
Advantages of silicone molding include:
High temperature resistance: Silicone has good high temperature resistance and can maintain stability and elasticity in high temperature environments.
Chemical resistance: Silicone has good resistance to many chemicals and can be used in various chemical environments.
Wear resistance: Silicone has good wear resistance and can maintain its performance and appearance over long-term use.
Softness and elasticity: Silicone has good softness and elasticity and can adapt to product needs of various shapes and sizes.
Weather resistance: Silicone has good weather resistance and can be used in indoor and outdoor environments for a long time without being affected.
Our silicone molding capabilities include liquid injection molding as well as silicone rubber transfer molding, overmolding, and liquid injection molding.
Silicone molding is widely used in medical, electronics, automobile, home and other fields. It can manufacture silicone products with excellent performance and various shapes to meet the needs of different industries and applications.

- Liquid Injection Molding (LIM/LSR)
Liquid Injection Molding (LIM, also known as Liquid Silicone Rubber, LSR) is a special injection molding technology used to manufacture silicone rubber products. Different from traditional solid silicone molding, LIM/LSR uses liquid silicone rubber material for injection molding:
Material characteristics: LIM/LSR uses liquid silicone rubber material, which has excellent high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, weather resistance and electrical insulation properties. Silicone rubber material also has good elasticity and softness.
Accuracy and consistency: LIM/LSR injection molding can achieve high-precision injection to ensure the consistency of the size and shape of parts. This molding technology is suitable for manufacturing complex part structures and details.
Automated production: LIM/LSR injection molding usually uses dedicated injection molding machines and molds, which can achieve a highly automated production process. This helps improve productivity and consistency.
Waste-free and environmentally friendly: LIM/LSR injection molding is a waste-free molding process, reducing material waste. The silicone rubber material itself is also environmentally friendly and does not contain harmful substances.
Durability and reliability: Silicone rubber products manufactured by LIM/LSR have good durability and reliability and are suitable for long-term use and harsh environments.

LIM/LSR is widely used in medical, automotive, electronics, home and other fields. Some common LIM/LSR products include medical device seals, automotive seals, electronic product casings, baby pacifiers, etc. This molding technology can meet the demand for silicone rubber products with high quality, high precision and special requirements. However, LIM/LSR injection molding has higher process control and mold design requirements, requiring professional technology and experience to ensure the quality and consistency of parts.
LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) liquid silicone injection molding is a special injection molding technology that uses liquid silicone material for injection molding. Compared with traditional solid silicone molding, LSR injection molding has the following advantages:
High precision and consistency: LSR injection molding can achieve high-precision injection to ensure the consistency of the size and shape of the parts. This molding technology is suitable for manufacturing complex part structures and details that can meet strict dimensional requirements.
Good fluidity: LSR has low viscosity and good fluidity, and can fill small and complex structures in molds to achieve more delicate parts manufacturing.
High temperature resistance: LSR has excellent high temperature resistance and can maintain stability and elasticity in high temperature environments. This makes LSR products suitable for high temperature applications such as automotive engine parts, electronic equipment, etc.
Chemical resistance and weather resistance: LSR has good chemical resistance and weather resistance, can be used in various chemical environments and outdoor environments, and is not susceptible to corrosion and aging.
Softness and elasticity: LSR has good softness and elasticity, and can make products with good touch and elasticity, such as baby pacifiers, handles, etc.
Non-toxic and environmentally friendly: LSR material is non-toxic, odorless, and meets food-grade and medical-grade safety standards. At the same time, LSR injection molding is a waste-free molding process, reducing material waste.
Efficient production: LSR injection molding usually uses dedicated injection molding machines and molds, which can achieve a highly automated production process and improve production efficiency and consistency.
Based on the above advantages, LSR liquid silicone injection molding is widely used in medical, automotive, electronics, home and other fields. It can manufacture high-quality, high-precision and special-requirement silicone products to meet the needs of different industries and applications.
